We've got a lot of photos being shown here, and so I was wondering what each of your motivations are, in taking & displaying so many pictures.

I would have to say not just one but the first 4 you listed there are why I take so many photos. Meeting some women would be nice though, lol! We need more women on this board, lol!

My motivation is to have a personal collection, as I know that years from now, I want to be able to look back to these days and remember the ships I grew up on. Because one day, those ships will be Retired, and either scrapped, or maybe some sort of accident like a sinking, may happen. The future is hard to predict, so you'll never know what will happen, until it happens. But until then, I will continue to take full advantage of being able to travel on those ships, in full operational service, while looking their best. Also, I like to share things like that, with people that I know who will appreciate just as much as I do.

If there were C class ferries only and all they ever had were funnels with mating slugs on them, then maybe I wouold not be interested.
But there is a good variety in our ferries, and they used to look 'sweet' before 2003, and I have lots of pictures from back in the day...

Have you ever asked yourself if the original Spaulding concept was generic at the time of the construction?
