I don't have a photo of this ferry, but I managed to catch a good glimpse from the train I was on. The Usk Ferry is actuallly very cool because it is a reaction ferry. Has anyone else seen any of these abnormal ferries?!

I had the pleasure of riding the Lytton reaction ferry four years ago on a field trip, and it was one of the best ferry rides I've ever taken. One cannot help but marvel at how quickly the ferry crosses the river when it's only source of propulsion is the river itself. Amongst the many other delights was her wooden car deck, which was barely large enough to take a 30 foot school bus. Quite a nail biter, waiting to find out whether or not our bus would fit.
As I was experimenting with black and white photography at that time, I didn't get very many good shots. I will endeavour to post the one decent shot I took when I have access to my files; I'm away at the moment.
