A general appeal:
Though I've lived in sight of BC tidewater for 58 years, I am sadly ignorant of today's scheduled non-BC Ferries operations.
I hope that our broad base of enthusiasts, observers and workers could compile a description of scheduled freight-only services and non-BCF passenger carriers on our coast.
This easy project might help us all better understand BC Ferries' job.

Hey, Brian... better late than never.
Here's a few that come to mind- maybe some other members can add to the list.
Seaspan
freight only. Vessels: Carrier Princess, Princess Superior, Seaspan Greg, Seaspan Doris, Coastal Spirit, barge #940. Routes: Tilbury- Nanaimo, Tilbury- Swartz Bay
Van Isle Barge
freight only. Vessels: Link 100, Fraser Link Route: Surrey- Duke Point
Lady Rose Marine Services
freight, passengers Vessels: Lady Rose, Frances Barkley Routes: Port Alberni- Ucluelet, Port Alberni- Bamfield
Nootka Sound Service Ltd.
freight, passengers Vessel: Uchuck III Routes: Gold River- Nootka Sound- Kyoquot Sound
Barkley Sound Marine Transportation
passengers Vessel: Seaway Express Route: Ucluelet- Bamfield
Marine Link Transportation
freight, cruise passengers Vessels: Aurora Explorer; Totem 1, Risco Regeen (tugs), Coastal Roamer, Western Carrier (landing barges) Routes: Menzies Bay to: south coast, Broughton Archipelago, central coast, Rivers Inlet/Hakai Pass.
Lax Kw'Alaams First Nation
vehicles and passengers Vessel: Nicola (Spirit of Lax Kw'Alaams) Route: Prince Rupert- Port Simpson
City of Prince Rupert
vehicles and passengers Vessel: Route: Prince Rupert- Digby Island (airport)
Western Pacific Marine
passengers, light freight Vessel: Centurion VII Route: French Creek- Lasqueti Island*
Then there are smaller services, such as the landing barges that will take your car to Lasqueti, the water taxi to Savary Island, and probably many more that I'm not aware of.
Were we counting the international services- Victoria Clipper, Victoria Express, Black Ball, Washington State Ferries?
There must be more freight carriers on our coast, but on a quick search, I couldn't locate them.
That's it, for a start, anyway.
(*- edited from 'False Bay' to French Creek.)

Sorry, you're wrong. The information was as I posted it. There's no such thing as the 'Lasqueti Queen'.

I'm not sure which vessel it is you're referring to when you say "Lasquiti Queen". The Centurion VI is at Barnston and the VII is at Lasquiti, and has been since new.

Well, it's obviously the Centurion something, 'cause here's a pic of the tug: Also, I'm fairly sure it's Western Pacific Marine who also runs the Barnston III (name of Barge) and Centurion something between the end of 104th Avenue and the southwest corner of Barnston.
