I saw her on Oct.1st, as I sailed down Discovery Passage by Campbell River. She's tied up near the Elk Falls pulp mill, just south of Menzies Bay.

Yes. She is no longer part of Bill and Arts Fleet.

Interestingly, the most recent edition of Lloyds Register, dated 2004/2005, has the AJS listed as being owned by BCFS.

What? They didn't rebuy her did they?

No, I don't think so. I'm fairly sure that the 2004/2005 edition was simply published before the sale of the AJS.

Good question! you can check it out yourself at a library that has the register. just look in the volume that shows the companies and what ships they own.
I also found an answer to a question I've been wondering for a while: It turns out that the Oak Bay and the Surrey are still only managed by BCFS... an investment branch of Xerox, apparently, are the owners. but like the other C-Class, this financing agreement will soon end, and BCFS will become the owners.

Is she gonna be used as a ferry? I think she is a private boat to someone, a luxury cruiser. LOL

I don't think people use old, small, open deck ferries as luxury Harry...might as well just buy a yaht instead.

Doug wrote: "I don't think people use old, small, open deck ferries as luxury Harry...might as well just buy a yaht instead." Might be considered a luxury to an enthusiast (like Harry) with deep pockets. --------------------------------------------- Quinsam Teen wrote: "Ok, it was 2002 when she was sold." Hmm, interesting. I'd say that maybe I was looking at the company register for 2002 or earlier, but I'm fairly sure that the 2004/2005 Lloyds Register of ships listed the owner as BCFS (I could be mistaken, but fortunately I made a photocopy (that's at home right now); I'll post here once I've double checked).

This ARTHUR BEAULIEU wouldn't be the same 'Art' as the part owner of the Sidney, would he be? Maybe he bought it for himself?
