Two days ago, I happened to see the Albert. J. Savoie here in Powell River!
She sailed past the town towards the mill and then she turned around and docked at the Westview wharf, I'm not sure where she went after that but it was definatly nice to see her once again!

Too bad you didn't manage to get any photos; I wish I'd been there to see her as most of my memories of her revolve around the Westview Terminal. The bane of commuters when she and/or her sisters were covering the Texada run, the kids used to love the "little" ship.

about 2 weeks ago or so, i saw the A.J savoie tied up in campbell river, as a place called Boatland, anyone on the island in campbell river will know the place. Looked strange with ramps attached to the front and back.
