Besides the sinking of the Queen of The North, can anyone think of any other mishaps that this ship had? I am unaware of any.

The Queen of the North has had a pretty spotless accident record. No incidents have been recorded in the past. EDIT:Though the Queen of Prince Rupert has had some grounding issues in her first 20 years.

None, that I can recall.
I know the QPR had 2 groundings, though.
But the QotN had no such excitement re her own problems, until the end.

To my knowledge the QotN did have an accident free existence until the end. There must have been some little things but nothing that I can recall.

One close call when she sailed as the Queen of Surrey in about 1975 on rte 2. We had a blackout as we approached Departure Bay. All steering and propulsion was lost, the anchor was dropped in time to prevent us grounding on Newcastle Island. I am unsure as to why the emergency generator failed to come on line.

Interesting, Sounds similar to another incident we know about.

The ships of BC Books does have a picture of the QPR aground at Haddington Reef and shows a picture of QTN unloading passengers at Bear Cove taken from one of the QPR's Groundings,. Interesting note When I was in Elementary school I knew someone who's Parents met while they were crew members on The QPR.
