Taking my 70 Charger R/T up to a car show in Campbell River this weekend. Pretty much the only time I get to take BC Ferries during the year since I live in the States. Taking the 10:15am New West on Friday, then getting a Circlepac and taking the Sunshine Coast tour on the way home Monday. Take the 6:30am Burnaby to Powell River, then take the Twa, then hope to catch the Surrey at 12:50 although it might be full (no reservation).

Make sure you buy your circle-pack at the first terminal, that being Tsawwassen on the Friday morning.
You pay for the entire cost of the 4 trips at once, less the 15% discount. They give you a series of vouchers to show at each successive terminal....neatly stapled in a brochure; just like an airline ticket book.
(we just did this same routine this weekend). You can only purchase this package at the start of the trip.

Did my CirclePac this weekend! Don't think I would ever do it again though. Took me 13 hours to get home. The New West sailing on Friday was full, but I always make reservations. Coming home we left Campbell River at 5:20 am (EARLY!!!!) to catch the 6:30am Burnaby sailing to Powell River. Thought we needed to hurry cause it was a holiday weekend and all. There were ten cars and four trucks on the boat! Emptiest ferry I have ever been on. Then we caught the 9:30am Twa sailing from Saltery Bay which ended up being full too, lucky they didn't send us up to the platforms. It was nice getting on her before she is retired. Then we got to Langdale at 11:30am but the 12:50pm Surrey sailing was already full, had to wait two hours for the Esquimalt to fire up. It was pretty cool to see her move from berth two to berth one. From where I was standing it looked like she got really close to the shore, but probably didn't. Funny thing was it took them two trys to get her into the berth! They actually backed in, pulled forward, then backed in again. The Coq was just leaving Horseshoe Bay as the Oak Bay was coming in so I got some nice shots of the both of them, plus the Cap was just finishing loading. The Oak Bay also pulled in about a minute after us so I got to watch the Oak Bay dock right next to us. Wow, I am a ferry nerd.

Neat stuff! You would have been right beside my boat this afternoon, if you were on the Esquimalts first sailing. The Esquimalt ended up nearly coming to a neat stop right next us, as we were trolling. So I saw all of the events that you saw as well, with Oak Bay coming in, and the Esquimalt leaving....

Yep, she stopped so the Coq could pull out. We ended up sitting there for about five minutes, then never got back to full speed so the Oak Bay almost beat us to the terminal. I was on the front pothole on the opposite side snapping pics on the upper deck.
