I have to head over to Vancouver (White Rock) on Saturday for an anniversary party. Orignally, I was going to get a ride on the other side, but that has fallen through and I now need to take my car over to the mainland for the day. My question is this:
What would be your best guess on the last run (9pm) tomorrow night (Saturday) for the Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay Run? Would I be safe to make it on even if I just showed up 15 minutes before the sailing?
Thanks.

You shouldent have a problem. The 9pm sailings are never full unless there have been cancellations or it's really busy for some reason but Sat nights are usually not busy!

Saturday nights are so slow they stopped running the last two sailings on Route 30.

This Alberta trip is doing you no good whatsoever. Come home, before you start singing Gary Glitter songs.

This Alberta trip is doing you no good whatsoever. Come home, before you start singing Gary Glitter songs. The dry Alberta air is drying out my brain, and causing me to have repeated 70's flashbacks. I likely had the opportunity to join the Alberta PC party this week, so that I could vote for my favourite leadership candidate. They were selling membership pretty cheap. Gary Glitter: I remember "Rock & Roll - Part II".....but I don't recall Part-I. I do however recall some sex scandal a decade ago.....

Unfortuantaley, due to budget cuts, and the Ferries of BC pension plan, we can only afford so much. Thanks John for hiring such musical talent that you can find at any SeaBus terminal. That name should be changed to City on the Sea Rollers. Mr. Efac: lovely performance, only a little trouble with the high notes, and umm, your wardrobe could use a little work, as you do not usually wear Tilly hats and yellow T-shirts on Canadian Idol. Thanks, no more critisism for you. I have a little something that Karl would like to pass on: LOL Yeah, I've got a good idea for the City on the Sea Rollers: With a little work, we could have Fluge, Karl, Curtis, Graham, Jordan and myself and our beautiful faces plastered on that CD case. You should use your accounting skills to sum up our total revenue once we go big. Lovely singing. You shouldn't have any trouble getting a girlfriend. Oh wait, you're married.

re this thread hijack of mine. I assumed that Kevin's question was already answered to his satisfaction.
Re the theme of "Saturday night", I was left with a few options for lampooning this thread:
1) the Magazine "Saturday Night", that used to be part of the Saturday version of National Post, and that had existed long before the NP's genesis.
2) Elton John & Bernie Taupin's song "Saturday Night's alright for fighting".
3) The Saturday Night Fever movie and soundtrack.
4) The Bay City Rollers shout-out of S A TUR DAY - Night.

Well, alright. I did a Google Image Search for Saturday Night; here's the Jordan 2005 theme: (does that look as tacky as I think it does?) If you've had a bit to much Par-Tay-Down ing, then you might have this: (Disco Stu does not like You) And finally, we have: (of course, you'd only watch that if you're brain-dead from the partying last night )
