I am thinking of getting up to Powell River on Friday afternoon. Plan is to take the 3:15pm from Comox to Powell River then drive down to Saltery Bay and take the 5:45pm sailing from Saltery Bay and do the roundtrip on the Tsawwassen arriving back at Saltery Bay around 7:35pm. Would I be able to make the 8:45pm sailing back to Comox if I arrived around 8:20pm or so??? Do you think that sailing would be busy on a Friday night??? Any help from the PR guys would be good!

It's possible to catch the 8:45, but you would be pushing it. Traffic usually isn't bad on a Friday night.

That Would Probably Work as Shane has said, but there's also the fact of if the Tsawwassen is Late or on time. If it's more than 30 Minutes Late, you might have a problem.

If it is late I dont have a problem with staying over in Powell River. I would prefer to get back to Comox but if it was late or full for some reason then I would just stay over. Would the 8:10am ferry Sat morning be busy you think?? Would hotels in Powell River be booked on a Friday night at the start of the Thanksgiving weekend???
