Heres a good site. www.evergreenfleet.com/index.htmlHas lots of old ferry pics. For some old BC Ferry pics go to "The Current Fleet" and then go down and click "WSF News"

After seeing some praise on my website I felt I should probably sign up and thank everyone who has made such nice comments on it.
Lastest addition to the site is a web gallery of West Coast Ferryboats from California to Alaska. I'm still working on it, but check it out and if you have any suggestions let me know.
Thanks!

Your new BC section is excellent. My favourite pic is the one of the Sechelt Queen (ex Chinook) where she is at Deas Dock, with a few other classic ferries. I like her terraced-stern decks...very cruise ship like. That's likely a design feature as she was built for Seattle-Victoria high-end travel. That's a great website, many many thanks ! Great site! I actually found something that left me even more curious about our own ferry fleet up here. I thought that the V/B Class all had their funnels heightened (as well as the facades around the pilot house / crew areas added) during their lengthening. I can almost remember reading in either the Bannerman's book "The Ships of British Columbia:..." or Favell's "The Queens of British Columbia" about this being the case. I had yet to see anything showing otherwise, that is until I looked through the BC section of photos at EvergreenFleet.com. Take a look at what I mean: www.evergreenfleet.com/qoesq_03.jpg

Thanks! Keep coming back, I'll be adding more photos as time goes on.
That's one of my favorite photos too...Still trying to hunt down the final disposition of the vessel. I have people telling me the Sechelt Queen still around as a casino in Alabama and people telling me she was scrapped in India...Hope to get final *final* word on her sooner or later...

Flugel:
You can actually find that pic in (I think) Cadieux & Griffiths' "Dogwood Fleet" (or was it Favell's "Queens of B.C."?).
