I wonder, what company is going to buy her?

BCF could buy her, and use her for Tsa-Gulf Islands in busy times, instead of using Bowen Queen. She would be able to relieve / supplement the Nanny year-round, because she's enclosed.
BCF could also use her on Cortes Island route, or on Port McNeil tri-route.
I checked the Alaska MHS website, and she's not listed, but she looks the same size as "MV Aurora", which is only 35 cars.....so she's only 1/2 the size of Bowen Queen.
I think BCF would have to be desperate in need of a replacement small vessel to buy this ship.....I don't think it will happen. But it's interesting to think thru the route possibilities.

wow, half the size of the Bowen Queen, that's cool. By looking at her you would think she is like the same size or smaller than the Coho cause she has that same design almost. But then again who thought the Cumberland was bigger than WSF Evergreen State?? I agreee with Flugel, BC Ferries could use her. Looking at her now she does look like a shorter version of the Coho or Tsawwassen.

Too old for BC Ferries. She was built in 1969.

Well your right about her being a little to old, if she was built between 1975 and 1985, she would be good to buy.

The current review that is out on the Transport Canada - Canadian Marine Act - is that they are trying to reduce the age of the fleet / vessels that carry fee paying passengers - to less than 30 years. This sort of policy is active in Europe - so therefore with this been talked about - 1969 is just to old.

It's an old boat, but I like ferries with that kind of design. Obviously made for handling heavy seas.

The photos, as was said are very decieving. I've seen that ship and it's about the size of my thumb

So why don't some of you "Rich" members of this forum - like Harry buy this vessel and turn it into your own floating Gin Palace?

It's like a smaller version of the Queen of the North or Rupert or even so the Coho without the loading doors on the side. I like those designs too. They are neat.
