From what I've read, the SOLAS upgrade isn't finished yet. I'll check to see if I can find the SOLAS certificate. As for where the Issaquah is, I don't know. Hopefully WSF will repaint her soon... she needs it badly. -- LB

Looks like the Chelan is going around giving all the Issaquah Class boats their yearly maintenance. She did the Kittitas and Cathlamet first. They were out about a week or two each.

Where did you read that? And I thought the Evergreen State was SOLAS certified? It is interesting they keep the Evergreen State up just for times like these. The Nisqually hasn't been run in so long that WSF won't even start her up.

They will not be running the evergreen state to sidney, the Evergreen State I think lost her SOLAS certificate because she does not meet requirements and she will be retired soon. WSF website if you want to know about the evergreen state

Elwha was on a wierd couse yesterday leaving Sidney during the big windstorms we had. She was going in the direction of the Gulf Islands instead of around Sidney Spit!

I noticed from the latest pictures that the "Sidney" sand bank is getting very long - also the distance between James Island and Sidney Island is getting enclosed again. When are they going to dredge that little narrows?
