The Kaleetan is down a genetator and will be running at 1/2 speed all day. Looks like she was covering for the Yakima until the summer schedule starts on June 11th.

Could this be because of the Nisqually never coming back and trying to get back with its friends in the maintenance yard?

Sounds like the Evergreen State should not be put out to pasture so soon... they sure could use a vessel that doesn't breakdown all that often.....

There wasn't any galley service on her as well earlier in the day ("staffing issue" according to the service bulletin), but that was resolved fairly quickly.
Just checked the WSF site... no indication as to when the generator problem will be resolved or if she'll be taken out of service and replaced with another vessel.

I was just wondering if anybody knows the status of the Kaleetan today?

I was just wondering if anybody knows the status of the Kaleetan today? She was repaired last night and is operating normally today.
