One of the slips at Vashon was shut down this evening due to a swarm of bees. Never heard of that happening before.

I got stung by a bee once while on a ferry (this was 25-30 years ago). I was on the Evergreen State and was out on one of the pickle wings (or whatever they're called) while she was docked at Friday Harbor when I got stung. I didn't know what happened at first.

How many slips are there at Vashon?
And, a little odd, I might add.

Dad just got stung 6 times by at least 12 wasps! He was removing Carpet from the Garage and the wasps had obviously made their home in that roll of carpet. He is going to spray them tonight when they are asleep, one came inside, but we zapped it with this fly zapper bat.
