I spotted 4 over there today: Malaspina (Duwamish River side), Coho (drydocked), Cathlamet (east side), and Elwha (east side, in front of the Cathlamet).

Some photos would be great. I would love to see some photos of the Coho in the drydock. It is interesting now as both international runs to Vancouver Island are not operating as the Coho is in refit and the Chelan is on the Bremerton run!

I flew into SeaTac yesterday and only saw the Malapina, Cathlamet, and Elwha. Looked like a Coast Guard ship in the dry dock.

I just checked the WSF and Black Ball websites and they said the Coho would be out of service from 1/22 to 2/4 for drydocking, so the Coho may not have arrived when you flew into SeaTac. I plan on getting pictures on Saturday (from the Harbor Tour boat).

I think that MV Taku should be joining the group soon. She was delayed because of the extra time needed to place MV Columbia back in service.

Looks like there's now 5 ferries there. I spotted what appears to be another Alaska ferry adjacent to the Malaspina.

The drydock on the East has the USCG icebreaker Healy in it. The Cathlamet and Elwha are on the east side of the drydocks, and the Malaspina and another Alaska ferry are on the west side of the drydocks.
As for the Coho, I have not yet gotten a chance to see her up there, but it fits in with the fact that there is currently no service between Pt Angeles and Victoria.

Nice photos. I assume they're taken off of another ferry? Sorry, I don't know my Washington geography that well.

WSF boats don't get that close to Todd Shipyard. I'd guess it was a tour boat.
Busy day at Todd's, though... it's always nice to see our biggest shipyard bustling. Anyone remember when they nearly went under in the 1980s?

Great Photos! It's Surprising to see so many Ferries there from different fleets. What would make it more intresting would be if there was a few BC Ferries in there.

Its interesting to compare the front end shots of the Coho and Taku, they are almost identical. The masts are different, I think the Coho is longer, and the car deck door seems to be back a little bit on the Taku. But the bows look identical.

They could almost be classed as sisters. Now that I think about it all the Spaulding Ships could be under one class name. The Coho, Taku, Malaspina, Matanuska, Aurora, Le Conte, Queen of Sidney, Queen of Tsawwassen, Queen of Victoria, Queen of Vancouver, Queen of Saanich, Queen of Esquimalt, Queen of Nanaimo, Queen of New Westminster, and Queen of Burnaby Could all be considered one class of ship type. The Basic Spaulding Ships of the 60s and 70s and most are Still Used Today Unbelievibly. A name such as...Spaulding Class Or something like that.

Things are changing now...The USCG boat was being lowered back down today. I also noticed that the Elwha is missing from behind the Cathlamet.
