For anyone who is a regular commuter in the Seattle area, have you seen the Tyee, aka Aqua Express?
Doing a routine search I've found no Coast Guard COI issued for her since 2002 and no record at all of the Aqua Express.
Having operated only a year or so back, she should still have a COI and should certainly still be listed with the CG...

I think if you search out a little deeper, you may find her up in Alaska. As you may know, Aqua Express was a consortium of Victoria Clipper, Four Seasons Marine, Argosy Cruises and Nichol Bros. Shipyard. I think she was actually owned at the time by Four Seasons Marine, who also owned the Spirit. You'll probably find her in Seward, Alaska.

For some truly irritating reason, the Coast Guard's website is not cross-referencing vessel VIN's. She is indeed back in Alaska under her original name--Glacier Express. Thanks for the heads up! www.alaskatravelgram.com/read_archive.php?id=108Scroll down for a fairly recent photo...

From what I heard, Four Seasons Marine took control of her after the Aqua Express went away. I did hear that she will be doing tours in Alaska.
Edit: The picture clearly shows that the "Aqua" part was covered with "Glacier". The "EXPRESS" is the same.

When WSF named her originally she was just the plain old Express.
Wandering through ice in Alaska might be just the return to her former life she needs!

Right... WSF simply dropped the 'Glacier' from her original name. It's my understanding that when WSF decided that it was going to work, they renamed her the Tyee.
