What sailing was that on? I was on the 3 pm from Seattle and we were all packed up. Top to bottom.

Possibly the most eye-watering floor pattern I've ever seen on a ferry--passengers love it, crews hate it. Go figure.

The car deck and exterior paint look great. It is nice that three more stairs (15 smaller ones instead of 12 huge ones) were added. WSF did that to all of the Issaquahs when they were refurbished. As for the interior, there are some very light colored seats (mint green) which are already showing a decent amount of dirt. The patterns are a bit wierd and the colors seem to clash. Especially the dark blue centerpieces of the tan chairs in the middle sections of both ends. Then, there is that random maze of colors in the aisles...

It isn't random; it's plaid. And the port captain I asked about it said the first color shceme was worse. That photo was taken on the #1 end of the boat. If you'll look the next time you're aboard, the blue/green stripes in the chair seating are four tiles wide; on the #2 (galley) end, they're only two tiles wide.

How is the Sealth doing as far as capacity issues on the Bremerton run? Are there very many overloads? I expect that things must be going relatively smooth as no one has posted any problems.

3:00 p.m. and 5:30 pm. are usually full loads out of Seattle with the Sealth and many I think get left behind. I have no idea about the 6:40 from Seattle but the 4:20 p.m. is full too usually.

Okay, so there is a pattern to the boat. It is just a little different than what I have seen before, as the main walkways have the patterns in them, as opposed to being solid tan.
As for the capacity, I have noticed that the 3:00 and 5:30 from Seattle do fill up and leave 20-80 cars behind. The Walla Walla easily picks them up, as the 4:20 sometimes has a couple of spaces left. The 6:45 clears the lot, unless it is a Friday night. The 7:50 does not have many issues with the capacity. Leaving Bremerton in the AM, the 7:20 fills, but there are very rarely more than 10 cars that sit and wait for the 9:00 (They either drive around or spend 90 minutes back at home). Sunday afternoons/evenings tend to fill both vessels on their trips.
