A person really could have fun with Indian Names.
I pulled out from my book shelf a book by James W Phillips titled "Washington State Places Names that I had bought many years ago.
Here are some interesting Indian names for "Water"
Paha from Adams County meaning Big Water
Sekiu from Callam County meaning for Calm Water
Kilisut from Callam County meaning for Protected Water
Here are some name of City and Towns.
Kennewick...Indian word for Grassy Place
Olalla Chinnook for Many Berries
The books has many Indian names from A to Z which would make for interesting night time reading.
