It truly is. The ship cut into the bridge of the hydrofoil on the starboard side, and utterly demolished it as can be seen in the photo attached to the following story (you'll have to cut and paste as the link didn't want to format correctly???):

It is amazing there weren't fatalities on the passenger deck as well.
