We don't have a place on this forum for photos of Canadian ferries outside of BC, so I thought I'd put this one here: the George Black, crossing the Yukon River at Dawson City. It operates, obviously, when the river isn't frozen over, and looking at the dates for the opening and closing of the sailing season, I noticed it's been getting earlier in May, and later in October. More evidence of global warming, I guess. This busy little vessel transports about 70,000 cars and up to 200,000 passengers a year, on a six minute crossing.
