JAKARTA: An Indonesian ferry that caught fire last week, killing at least 42 people, sank on Sunday as officials and journalists on board scrambled for safety.

At least three people were missing after the incident off Jakarta, witnesses and Indonesian media said. Lativi television said one of its reporters had been killed.

Sorry to bump this topic, but it's a similar story so there's no point making another one.

Another Indonesian ferry sank last night. The boat had a capacity of about 30 but was carrying almost 200.

Along with the 42 killed in a ferry fire in February (story above), there was another ferry sinking in Indonesia last December that killed 400.
