Where should touy and I set up a ferry modelling club? If you select other, please say what it is in your posts. I am looking for a lake with an island that is accessable by motor/rowing boat, or stepping stones, has to be in Vancouver or on Vancouver island, with the exception of Powell lake.

I Say Cowchian Lake it is Very Clam There and it is right by Lake Cowchian a town and it is close to my place too. The Other Lake that would be good is Long Lake, Nanaimo.

Ganges River Estuary is a good Idea, at High tide the river is pretty good for a Mill bay sized ferry model, or a Queen of the Frogs Sized Ferry model, that place rox, I will get some pics of that place next time I go there.

Harbourlynx: Are they model R.C boats? I have seen Long lake, but in the summer the water is realy low down, so best to go in the Spring, Fall or early winter.

Ok, here is a good Idea, on Saturdays we will float the ferries in the small estuary, Tuesdays we will float them at Cowichan lake, and Thursdays we will meet at Long Lake, then on every other day it is a day off. Good Idea? On School days it will be at about 4:30pm. Harbourlynx: Is your Harbourlynx boat gonna be R.C? Where abouts on Cowichan lake?

Right where touy said a small Island is, and it is accessible by either rowing boat, or stepping stones, because that island is gonna be the destination.
