I know a few of us on here have been talking about the Amazing Race. Any thoughts on the Race post here??? This will be the Amazing Race topic for anyone who watches the show.

Who are or were (if already eliminated your favorite teams???) And the teams you dont like???

My favorite team, well just elimated in the last show. I really liked watching the Paolo family. They were funny to watch the way they argued all the time.

The team I dont like and wish would get voted off is the Weaver family. They are so annoying especially the mother.

They should do a Canadian addition of the race. Have them come to BC. That would be cool! See if they can find their way through the BC Ferry fleet, lol!

Yeah there should be a Canadian edition so they Can navigate a province or they should navigate the Gulf Islands out of Swartz Bay or Tsawwassen or something like if they're in Nanaimo, Teams must now make their way to Departure Bay take a ferry to Horseshoe Bay turn around when they Get off the Ferry and get in the Ferry line for Bowen Island board the Ferry and go to the Sun deck where they'll find their Next Clue, then theres a Roadblock I could think of In this Roadblock one team member must grab a camera then the team boards a ferry for Langdale and the team member with the camera begins finding marked flags and taking pictures of them there are 50 throughout the whole ship and there is one big flag near the Langdale Ferry Terminal when they shoot pictures of all the flags they must show it to the Captain who will give them their next clue they need to get at least 40 out of 50 photos or else they can't leave the ferry till they do thats 2 challenges I think would do well, Anyway I liked the Gaghan family and the Paolo Family I also liked the Black Family but they were out in the first leg of the raceso now I don't like much of the teams nowBesides that there was one team from the 2 people team races from a past Amazing Race who remembers Charla and Mirna from the 5 amazing race then there were others from the 7th race like Urchenna and Joyce and Rob and Amber from Survivor great show the Amazing Race

Rob and Amber were in the last season same with Uchenna and Joyce. Uchenna and Joyce won the last season. Rob and Amber they remind me of the Weaver family now on this current season just the way they run the race. Rob and Amber were funny to watch too. I am currently watching season 1 on DVD cause I havent seen any season besides 7 and this recent one.

The Gaghan family I was suprised made it that far in the race with the kids. I also liked the Aiello family too.

I don't like the Weaver family, because I have to explain to my co-workers that "not all Christians are like that....". I had the same problem with Vecepia from Survivor-Marquesas.

I think that lots of bad things must have happened in the world during the taping of this season's Amazing-Race, because God would have been distracted and busy helping the Weavers all the time.....so that's why there were earthquakes & floods. (no, I don't really believe that, but it its good sarcasm).

I preferred earlier seasons of the show, and enjoyed world travel episodes, especially when they would visit India. The Indian train rides were the best for barbie-doll-culture-shock for some of the race participants.

I liked Kris & John from 2 or 3 seasons ago.....they finished 2nd, and were care-free happy-go-lucky people. A refreshing change from the over-serious ultra-competitve types.

Freddie & Kendra from a couple season's ago were also a bad piece of work. They were models, who hated visiting the poverty of Africa. She was labelled "the amazing racist" for some of the things she said.

The Amazing Race reality show on TV. You have never heard of it Cascade??? Dont you get it in Europe???

Although that is on CBS here. I know when we were down in the states there was a station called the Game Network or something that showed the Amazing Race every night.

I belive CBS is the American Channel The Amazing Race is also on CTV for Canada though both channels can be recived on regular cable stations and they also repeat the last show every sunday on OLN here

Never heard of it - but sounds interesting. The "Hottest TV" show we have from America right now is "LOST".

So what happens on LOST ??

To me it is a bunch of c-r-a-p about people who are stuck on an island after a plane crash and they do not know where they are and they cannot get help.

The Amazing Race is way better than Lost. Even though I have only seen bits of that show. Flugel, how many seasons of the race have you seen??? I have only seen 7 and now this one.

The Amazing Race is better than lost and Corner Gas (CTV Original Show Canada Only) is tons better and more funny than the Amazing Race

re Amazing Race: I watched some of season-1, then missed the next few. I watched again during the season with Chip/Reichen and then Charla/Mirna, and since then.

Corner Gas: I really like that show. A nice example of subtle Canadian humour.
