I just found out via MSN Messenger news, a duck on a farm near Abbottsford was infected with H5 Bird Flu, no other birds were infected fortunately, and the farm has been put under quarantine.

If the disease is harmful to humans...I suggest killing all those infected birds with a bullet to the head...quick and painless. ;D Even MORE breaking news though: MLAs Province-wide get 15%-31% wage increases!  Michael Smyth has a good editorial about the whole thing when the report was first launched in yesterday's paper. In The Province...page A4 I believe. |

The wage increase isn't exactly breaking news... it's 3 days old.
Sounds like they're killing all the birds on the farm. Hopefully it doesn't spread like it did last year.

No, they put the farm under Quarantine, no other birds in the region were affected, except that duck.

They're still studying it they don't know if it is the Deadly H5N1 so don't worry yet
