I hereby present myself before you all as a fully fledged... member... of this forum. Believe me, I'm not happy about this either. If I had my way, I'd still be anonymously lurking about, only popping up every now and again to make various insundry asinine statements concerning maritime history and aged pop culture. Oh, and to make fun of you all, of course. ('cept for Cascade; to quote the theme song to Shaft, he's "one bad motha... shut yo' mouth!")
But, seeing as how the pigs have now forced me to enlist and join this forum's roster of the damned (Will you still be proud when I along with many of my youthful bretheren return home in caskets?), know this: I will continue to be heard! Hasta La Victoria Siempre!
Oh, and if calling 'the man' pigs wasn't psychadelic enough for you, I'm sure this will jolt you clear from your senses:
One pill makes you larger And one pill makes you small And the ones that mother gives you Don't do anything at all Go ask Alice When she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits And you know you're going to fall Tell'em a hookah smoking caterpillar Has given you the call Call Alice When she was just small
When men on the chessboard get up and tell you where to go And you've just had some kind of mushroom And your mind is moving low Go ask Alice I think she'll know
When logic and proportion Have fallen softly dead And the White Knight is talking backwards And the Red Queen's off with her head Remember what the doormouse said: "Feed your Head Feed your Head!"

Nice to have you "legally" on board Fenklebaum, and I trust that my youthful age - twice yours - still has a little respect in it. (you can still be as underground as you want - in fact I would make you post that way if possible)
By the way - we have the new Kojak TV series here in London, but Shaft was ground breaking in its content. I did watch most of it while living in BC. It is very funny watching it - reruns - in French - sub titled - while I lived there.
We look for that in this forum - ground breaking ideas / debates toward BC Ferries and other Ferry services around the world. Apart from myself, it would be nice to cultivate overseas members to this form. It appears we have one other "female" member from either Germany or Holland - who is currently out on the coast trying out the local ferry service for herself.

Herewith is my response to Fenklebaum (and remember, it's "L" before "E"):
To quote another famous Isaac Hayes character: "There's no substitute for you (...no substitute), there's not substitute for you (...no substitute)".
Welcome aboard. We'll mail you your name-tag, certificate and lunch-kit as soon as your cheque clears.

I therefore guest that Mr. Fenklebaum, would be invited to the Forum farewell party - as he is now "legal". Been the last member - it will be down to him to bring the Chips & dip.

Only the most reputable bankers will do for me, sir. By the way, how long do you figure it will take for a cheque to clear from the Cayman Islands?
Beware. One of the chips is poisoned.
