Update! Mill bay is now finished, it needs the remote control and propellors though, the rudder is in place, can fit either 16 or 18 cars on, and has straws for the pipes all around the ship.

Will any of your models be contracted out, once they are built? Or will they all remain in the H.D.Ferry Corp. Will you re-do the livery on each vessel, everytime BCF changes it's corporate livery? so many questions, you should appoint a "director of planning" and a risk-management-team to manage your fleet.

LOL!!! Yes so many questions, will they be modified if the vessel is modified?
Are they actually going to be mechanized models?
Why do an organization when only one person is doing this?
Should we just have a thread where we can share our passion for these?

The Quinsam is gonna be 55 inches long, the Mill bay is 21.5 inches long. I can just picture the Quinsam alongside the Mill bay in a boating lake.

if the mill bay is 21 inches. than to be to scale. my lynx will have to be 23.5 inches. or 55.9 cm, and the model i wan planning to build was 100cm long. or a scale of 40:1 or for every meter of my boat, the real one is 40m. easy to do. but i think i can re set for 55 cm or 21.6 cm... but ill have to re tune the motors. i was going to use 2 high capacity bilge pumps to simulate the waterjets, but i might just have to go straight props. because of the expense (over 150$ for each pump, and i needed 2) plus the cost of the control system (250.00) and the cost of the wood and plastic (ive decided to have a wood mold, and then use a vaccum form machine to form the plastic hull (approx another 200.00) and then i need the batteries (150 + 50 for the charger) and then the super structure (approx another 50 - 100$ and then paint (55$)
for a total of cost of 1,400 (i didn;t list all the stuff) and im planning to have her ready for the 3 year anniversary on Oct 7 2006
