Some people have no brains, I was working on the Day Toyota Job out of Lulu Island, the Toyota Job runs out to the Fraser docks where Toyotas are loaded from ship to railcar, near Deas Pacific Marine. On our way back from Toyota through Richmond this very dumb person decided that she would stop across the tracks even though the wigwags were going and the gates were coming down. She never even looked to see if there was a train coming anbd inched forward to make a left turn at the intersection. The hogger soaked it(dumped all the air in the brakepipe for an emergency brake application) and needless to say he had some choice words for this woman. After we ground to a stop just narrowly missing her, she decided to make a left turn on a red light.

Wow, I guess some people have no idea how far a train goes until it stops when the brakes are applied. That lady was pretty lucky, and hopefully she learned a lesson. Unless she's one of those "dumb blonde" types.

We took down her license plate, she should be getting a nice large fine.

Wow, I guess some people have no idea how far a train goes until it stops when the brakes are applied. That is too true, we had 20 something loaded autocarriers and we were only going 15 MPH, it took us 300 almost 400 feet to stop.
