I just want to yet you know the true facts in regard to the Queen of Coquitlam's replacement: The Queen of Cowichan has been temporary re-positioned to Horseshoe Bay to Replace the Coquitlam. The Queen of Esquimalt is in fact replacing the QUEEN OF COWICHAN NOT The Coquitlam. Global Tv incorrectly reported that the Esquimalt is replacing the Coquitlam which is false.  |

The Queen of Coquitlam isn't doing any runs right now for some reason and the Queen of Oak Bay took its place and its been like that since Sept. 7th. I guess theyre using whats left of the Oak Bay until December to go in for refit. Last time I saw her was when she was running on one engine one night and was taking another 45 mins to cross the horseshoe bay depature bay route and when she was supposed to ofleft at 5:00 pm from Nanaimo she didnt get in till 8:30 in Vancouver and that was the same time the Cowichan got in to leave at 9:00 and the 7:00 pm (Queen of Coquitlam) never left till just after nine following the Cowichan and shes been out of service since so i guess she must be really broken

Hmm Sounds bad for the Coquitlam. Maybe the Surrey can replace her and the Esquimalt can take
Horseshoe Bay - Langdale but Maybe they could use another V Class for the route(Just a suggestion).

they wont ever build any new V class, they have the "Super C's" and stuff insted.

Aparently in that refit she had in september she got the big expensive fire windows installed exactly under where the lif boats are and its not boring to sit along where there was no windows on a really busy day anymore  ;D But the Cow and Coq are getting alot harder to tell each other apart now cause they both have small pipes sticking out of the funnel and now the fire windows but the only thing you would be able to tell them apart by is the size of the elevator rooms on the 1st side of them (cow has bigger one than coq on same side) |
