Powell River is in the front page of the observer section of the Vancouver Sun today.
The reason Powell River is in the paper is because the real estate industry is booming there.

Hahahaha, where is it not booming in BC?? I hope it collapses right after the Olympics, because it going to be hard to buy a house for any young people, unless they're born with a silver spoon in their mouth. I'm not really interested in renting for the rest of my life either. But what can you do, but I suppose the interior or the North end of the Island would be a good place to start off.
