Hey John H. why is it impossible to answer to your "information" ? OK all I want to say - instead of using a complete photo-host for the images - use www.tinypic.com, upload your photo, and copy the "img" thing to here. You don´t have to do it manually with tinypic.com Also you don´t have to bother about re-sizing and fiddling around with your image because tinypic does that automatically for you. ´ The most important - it´s for free. Do I sound like a commercial ? It´s not.. it´s just the way I found it most convenient and it´s the way I did add images to my posts here. Hopefully this could be a help for some - to make it easier.

I just tried out TinyPic, and I got this to work in under 60 seconds. Trivia: where is this photo taken (it's in BC), and what is this thing that I've taken the picture of??

Hmm...looks like somewhere in the Interior/Okanagan. Is it the fact that the grass is nice and green, compared to the dry hills and bushes in the background?

No... judging by the barbed wire, and the opulence, I'd say the back garden at David Hahn's summer place. Second guess, Butchart Gardens.

just east of Castlegar BC, off of Hwy 3. Old town of Brilliant, BC. Home to many Doukhobors Above photo is the tomb of their late leader, Peter "Lordly" Veregin. Revered by some, despised by others, bombed by some...... There's the "Doukhobor Village Museum" closer to Castlegar, which has some restored buildings, and a large statue of Tolstoy. 1 week before we visited this area (summer 2001), a little old Russian lady of 85 years old, burned down the local college building in Cresent Valley, just up the road......nice work Mary Braun! interesting BC history.

Interesting people. The only ones to bomb a BC Ferry, I believe:)
Could someone confirm that?

Why can't you post on the "posting images" thread? I think it's because when Strong Skier created the post, he "locked" it because it is an administrative reminder rather than a discussion. Only moderators can post to those types of threads.
