What's the slant? Seems like a pretty objective article to me.

I guess that's my bad, I've always thought of objectivity as being hand-in-hand with ballance and so I questioned the incorrect one of the two. I meant to question the ballance of this story. I cannot find any ballance in this story; can anyone else, or is that just me?

Don't you think the author is presenting both sides of the issue? She talks about the Conservatives feeling unfairly targetted by environmentalists but also quotes many people who are critical of the Conservatives. I didn't get the sense she was taking a side, but merely pointing out (correctly in my opinion) that when interest groups get involved in politics they lose some of their credibility.

Oh for goodness sakes, lol. That's my bad, apologies; Thanks to that ad after the first few paragraphs - and possibly to my green (certainly not the party with the same name though ) coloured glasses' way of jumping me to conclusions too quickly too often (as any is too many for my liking) - I didn't scroll-down and my analysis of the story was based simply on the first few paragraphs before that ad. I was basing my assumption about the short length of this story on CKWX News (AM)1130's similar short length of stories they publish on the net ( www.news1130.com ). I must have looked like a real nut with this one, though it feels like sometimes that isn't saying much - That'll teach me
