So, I'm a bit lost here... why is it again we should provide an exemption so that nostalgia can trump safety? This museum shouldn't be in service either.

I was thinking the same thing! Safety should be taken into strong consideration and not the fact that it's been around so long. I bet she would go up in flames quick if she was to catch fire. I wonder if the same applies to her sister the Delta King? I went on her in 2004 and stayed all night she was fixed up pretty good there in Sacramento. It was nice to stay on her.
