50 New Mass Transportation Pics: www.masstransport2010.fotopic.net/variousMuch like my similar recent large upload of ferry pics, many of these are repeats but have been deleted from the gallery in the past due to space constraints that are no longer an issue. 25 more www.masstransport2010.fotopic.net/variousThat's the last of those instant uploads, but I'll return with more soon enough once I resize a bunch of others.

A variety pack of a dozen transit images from yesterday www.masstransport2010.fotopic.net/recentThere's a few in there that I like, mainly because of the blur that the lower light of an overcast day provides when panning, but this is probably my favorite... Famed Orion V 'Express Coach' about to go into service from downtown for the afternoon rush home www.masstransport2010.fotopic.net/p43922344.html...Soon most of these comfy buses will be dumping their passengers near the southern end of the new Canada Line, forcing them to get off the bus and transfer to trains for almost half their journey, meanwhile commuters at every stop in Richmond have aready had their choice of seat before the train gets to their station... But I digress Also there's photos of the new Nova LFS buses that we've taken delivery of.

One of the buses you've photographed actually has seats facing backward, behind the rear wheels.... don't think I've ever seen that on any transit bus.

That's the P.Quebec-built Nova LFS by Nova Bus, their take on the low floored bus that has been proven all over the east including in larger cities of note that run these, from Montreal to Halifax, and possibly St John's too, in large numbers. Nova Bus - Nova LFS on Wikipedia- new edits uploaded, many from this past month Translink and other Transit - 88 Various NewIncluding old buses of PCL's fleet, some of which have been running nearly continuously for deacades and the kind that I have fond memories of growing up taking a day trip once in a while to Victoria.
