Happy celebration of the mass turkey genocide!
I hope everyone's had a good weekend in Rainy BC, while I've spent Thanksgiving in sunny Calgary.

Grrrr... hey moderators, can I tell him to 'get lost'...? Acutually, we quite enjoy the rain, don't we? Besides it wasn't really that rainy here, just windy. For proof check the trip photos, (even though I wasn't on it...), but it was mostly dry here too by the afternoon.

Hmmm... I forgot that... send some rain his way in that case... We're thankful for our rain here... it's the fact that it's wet that I find hard to deal with. HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

Yes Happy Thanksgiving from steamy Ontario, 28C, humid and sunny. We actually decided to move the dinner indoors instead of eating on the patio. It would have been alright if we all were in shorts but since we weren't we opted for air conditioning. Unbelievable for Thanksgiving. Yesterday was BC foggy but a nice temperature. We drove North to see the fall colours. Firstly the fog obscured the views and secondly the colours are muted because of the extremely dry hot weather we have had. Lots of leaves are just falling before they properly turn or instead of the brilliant reds are going kind of brownish red.

Happy Turkey Day! I ended up working today, I guess even though the industries are closed for Thanksgiving, CN says we've still got to go to work. The yard was empty, we sat around doing nothing for most of the day.

I think I like the leftovers better than the first time. Well since I am one of the chefs, it means NO WORK so I guess that is why the leftovers are great hehe.

Thanksgiving? Well, that explains why the Giants game started at 2 PM on Monday... ;D
We made it in time, though... Aldergrove Crossing is the way to go! Plus two days fooling about in Vancouver, even though most stuff was closed. Vancouver Maritime Museum and the Space Centre were good... though if I'd been more keenly aware of the CUPE strike, I might've skipped it (gotta support my brothers and sisters when I can).
