Ok, everyone sees trains at one point or another. But this is a thread dedicated to rare train sighting moments.
Today, I decided to take a drive past the West Coast Railway Heritage Park to see if anything was going on. Just as you come up to the Park, you have to go over 4 sets of tracks, at the outskirts of the former BC Rail Yard site.
The first thing I noticed as I was coming across the tracks, was a few Grain cars on the siding, with a bunch of rail workers with their High Visability outfits on. As I drove a little further, I noticed two diesel WCRA Locomotives attached to the grain cars. This was the CP Loco 4069, and the Pacific Great Eastern #561.
I didn't have my camera on me unfortunately, but little events like this don't happen everyday.
Here are photos of the locomotives that were mentioned above. Keep in mind, these were not from today, and are from the WCRA website.
