I must say good luck to all, this will definitely be a hard choice due to the number of entries and the fact that some are very high in quality. However, some are a bit obvious that the quality is not as good as it could be (IMHO). Again, good luck to all!

For me, it was a toss-up between #6 & #7......but I also liked #1 & #5.
The pic that I voted for included great background scenery, a C-Class Ferry that was neatly placed at the side of the shot, and was unique because that ship is rarely on the route that she was photographed on.
That means that I voted for #7.

I may not like the C class, but I do like pics 1 and 2. I voted for pic one because it has nice scenery around it.

I have voted for nuimber 6 because it is a great photo. So is #7 but IMHO the Surrey looks better than the Alberni so #6 gets my vote. Photos of mine have been used for both August [ Q Victoria] and September [ QPR]. So I will not officially make an entry for October, and its time for a more modern photo anyway. So it is up to members to vote on the photos in the above list. Having said all of that I offer a few oldies of C Class, including the Oak Bay, that I might have entered... but am not. After night #1, Pic #1 stands in the lead. Westcoastkid, seriously, you should've entered that Alberni pic. It's quality is superior!

I voted pic 10. Why? Because the timing is excellent, the scenery is excellent, and unlike my pics, they aren't taken from a resaurant balcony. My vote goes to Curtis, Queen of Cowichan.
BTW, great entries on Jim's part.

A big "Thank You" to all those responsible for this poll here. A great idea.
Thanks to those who contributed photos, to those who made the suggestion for a poll, and to Jordan for administering the poll, and to those who have voted.
This should be a fun, regular end-of-month occurence from now on.
What's up for November again??

ITS OFFICIAL, Scott's Queen of Cowichan Pic is the new header. Who's official are you talking about, and is he a referee or an umpire, or a corporate-type representative?? (Sorry, I just couldn't resist the apostrophe-grammar poke, you guys make it too irrisitible some times...) Don't they teach the use of the apostrophe in school anymore? ? ps: September was apostrophe-awareness month....I'll think about whether to start a new focus for October, or to keep on A-A for another month.......I know this is all extremely important to you all, so maybe we'll do a poll to see what grammatical focus we would like next.....(full sarcasm intended).
