When comparing the views of the ship in the different photos, I'm amazed at how different she looks from the side, vs. head-on, or even at an angle.
Side views, like the pic#2 make her superstructure look so narrow.
I like the diversity in view that a smaller vessel like MQ shows from different angles.

I have not voted for my own, but have chosen #12 instead.
Obvoiously I like this shot, but, I would like to ask the photographer...
How did two PR class come to be simultaneously in that location off of Sturdies Bay? I need an explanation, as I am inclined to think that some photoshopping is possible here?

Nope, no PS here. That was all about the Bowen Queen and Mayne Queen running late. It was the timing.

How did two PR class come to be simultaneously in that location off of Sturdies Bay? I need an explanation, as I am inclined to think that some photoshopping is possible here? There are two ways that is a possible sight once a year for a period of time each... 1. As when the picture was taken, the Bowen Queen was on her regular summer route of 9a, Tsawwassen - SGI. 2. As just ended on Friday for this year's refit of the Queen of Cumberland, when the Bowen Queen is filling-in on route 5, alongside the Mayne Queen, who's regularly on route 5 in the Gulf Islands and based out of Swartz Bay.

I guess the Bowen Queen was doing Route-9A, and coming over from Tsawwassen. Mayne Queen must have just left Sturdies Bay (or just waiting to arrive) on her gulf-islands milk-run. I presume that the island in the background is Mayne Island, east of Miner's Bay. And Mt. Baker was just there to keep an eye on things.

Alright, I was sent a screenshot of the results from 10PM last night, and #12 was in the lead, so I think that is what we will go with.

I respect the call, and love the new banner, but, if we're splitting hairs, maybe Doug shouln't be disenfrachised for voting while the poll was still open, considering that the poll didn't open at the time it was said to have either. This is a reminder that the poll will be opened at 8:30 this evening, which will be the deadline for picture submission. The Poll will remain open until 10:00 on Halloween. Again I'd to thank everyone for their entries. Voting will end Tomorrow at 10 PM Pacific Time...
