June 2007's flagship with be Queen of Sidney / Tsawwassen.
Remember that the banner-size has a maximum.....search these old flagship threads for the size.....or just right-click on the current banner, and see the size under the "properties" info. (April's banner is 975 wide x 196 tall, and that's a good size).
***** Also remember that if you post your potential banner in this thread, that it will show up as oversized, because a thread's-width is narrower than the full-screen-wide-banner. So you might want to resize your banner for this thread's purpose, or just post a link to the full-width version.
Nominations will be received in this thread during the month of May (deadline is 9:00 May 31'st), and then voting will happen at the end of May 2007.

ps: remember this quirk of widths: if your banner is the right width "for a banner", and then you post it "into this here thread", it will be over-width in the thread, causing side-scrolling. This is baaaaaaaaaaad. Side-scrolling in a thread causes reader-problems, so it's not a good thing.
After you post your nomination banner (or any other pic in any other thread), please ensure that you haven't exceed the max thread width.......which is a max of 800 px wide for a "thread" picture.
So, to sum up on widths:
- 975 for a banner, but only when it's on the top of the screen at that month's official flagship.
- all displayed-pictures in a thread, including banner nominations, must be 800 wide, or less.
