postcards would be fine......
Obviously, this month's nominations will likely include photos that you yourself have not taken personally....because we're going back 48+ years in time.
So, yes, this means that any photos from your "collection" are eligible. I suppose that public-domain pics are also eligible, if you wish to crop them for banner-shape/size.

If you do use photos from a source that isn't your own, the above submission by Wet Coast Kid is an example of how it should be done - with proper credit to the photographer or source if known.

Just 1 more week for nominations for the July-07 flagship.
(for those wondering about August-07, Johnny Hammersmark will be announcing his theme-criteria soon. It might be something like "babies who share the same name with a retired ferry)

To me, despite living a century after her beginning, the Princess Victoria is the best representation of the original ambitions of both the British Columbia Coast Steamship Service and those of Sir William Van Horne and what he turned Canadian Pacific Railway and Canada into in the late nineteenth century, let alone how that revolutionized the industry of tourism in many ways, that has ever plied the waters of our west coast, and that banner is now in fact, I can honestly say, the best representation of her that I've seen to date; thank you, Jim. I don't doubt that this banner will get my vote.
