August 2007 Forum Flagship Banner - First Vote

Here is the list of entries received for the month of August. The criteria for the photo was quite broad, I simply wanted photos that showed the ferries operating in the context of "Beautiful British Columbia". So the photos should be judged on how well they show off our province, not just which is the best profile shot of a ferry. There are a number of really good entries, so we may need to have a second round of voting.

This first round of voting will continue until 5:30 PM Sunday. If one photo has collected 50% of the votes, I will consider it a win. If no one photo has 50% of the vote, then I will take the top 4 vote-getters (and any ties) and have a run-off vote until the end of the month. Sounds like a federal Liberal leadership convention - they are fun to watch if nothing else;)

Here's something funny: I missed this first round of voting entirely.

I've been using the "view last 40 posts" view on this forum, and this forum-flagship voting thread didn't show up at all.

I'm not whining or complaining.....I'm just surprised that I actually missed the voting-action from July 26th until now.
