Sorry, but when were nominations not being accepted anymore, and where is mention of this? I might be a little behind the times  ...I might want to enter a banner into the contest / throw my hat in the ring. |

Question: - Are you honestly saying that you're unaware of the regular pattern of nominations being open until near the end of the month. - or are you argueing a point of procedure, because the end of nominations time wasn't clearly spelled out to you? - Are you the reason that McDonald's has to print "Caution: beverage is hot" warnings on its coffee cups ? (joke in context).  |

(joke in context). Beyond being on an eventful summer schedule lately and not being as up-to-date on the forum as most times of the year, I was actually going by this post... I'm extending the deadline to Thursday evening at or shortly after 10PM. ...I assumed it meant this week as it used the word 'extended'; I wouldn't have expected the word 'extended' to be included if it was referring to last week. Oh well, no skin off of my back. |

I'll second that - more than anything for this reason I did not either participate or vote until after it was too late to count. I don't know which way I would have voted but I didn't until the last minute; of course I won't be telling anyone how anytime soon like any mindful member of a democratic society, unless of course you choose otherwise.
