We will be featuring any K-class vessel for the month of January. This will also include the Albion ferries...
This means the Klitsa, Kahloke, Kwuna, Kuper, Kulleet and the Klatawa.
Nominations will be closed on December 30th at 9:00 PM PST
Please note that the dimensions have now changed to a maximum of 960 x 240. We will now allow a spread from 840 x 200 up to 960 x 240 for the header image.
Please post your entry as a reduced image onto the forum (maximum width of 800 pixels), as well as a link to the full-sized image.

Second entry: Mods, let me know if the dimensions are too hard to work with - I did my best to edit the dimensions, this time...

I don't have a lot of photos of the K class ships, but I found one to enter for next month: Full size here.

Wet Coast Kid:
Both your submissions are less-than 200 tall. And you haven't posted a link to a "full size".
So I just wanted to alert you to this, so that your entries don't somehow get disqualified because they don't meet the minimum height requirement (and I'm just going by the instructions in Scott's post that started this here thread - re his bold-type criteria).

Either Graham's of the Klitsa and Kuper, or Mikey's of the Kahloke has my vote. Say...Haven't we already had JST's of the Kwuna as a banner...Or am I mistaken somehow.

My photo above of the Kwuna has been entered in a previous month's 'competition', but did not win. Hence it has never been the banner of the month at any time. I also at one point was using a variation of this as my signature.
BTW, links to the full sized versions have been added to my post above, and I am fairly sure that both meet the required size limits. If not I expect that I will hear.

If not I expect that I will hear. Oh, yes, just as a warning, I didn't hear about my improper size requirements until AFTER the voting had begun... so what I suggest doing is asking the mods personally to make sure the size requirements are correct, via PM... that's the only thing I can suggest.

I don't really have many images of K Class Vessels for a flagship sized banner. But this image taken a week and a half ago works. [edit]Image Changed to meet size Standards[/edit]

Curtis ShipRider:
minimum width is 840. Yours is 800.
.....just pointing it out for you.
Or maybe you have a full-size item, but you just didn't post it.
take a look at Scott's instructions, one more time.

Kam.
I really like the way you arranged that photo, with the text running behind the Kuper. It's a very visually dynamic effect.

Hah! I knew you were going to point that out. Funny how we were taking photos of the same thing that day . PS: If mods want the photo Klatawa Teen quoted to be fit into the right dimensions, just erase the "-1" just before the ".jpg" on the url.

SEAN:
- All 3 of "Queen of Nanaimo Teen's" JPG attachments are Under the size range....ie too small.
Please re-read Scott's instructions in this thread, and make sure your banner is within the RANGE that he specified.
Right now, all 3 of your shots are ineligible. It's the width. All 3 pics of yours are 799 wide....and they need to be between 840 and 960 wide.

Please check these links, Sean... These photos are not showing because they are being directly linked. Try uploading them to your Photobucket site instead of Fotopic...

This is not rocket science....
