I don't think I'd like that really... it would feel too artificial and contrived to me, certainly not the experience of wind and water that a traditional ship would give you. Someone clearly has way too much money that they need to find a more productive outlet for than just spending it on themselves. Well, I know the obvious conclusion is that at least they spent it on the shipyard workers and designers, but still... Seems like they just went all out for flash and flare but there's not too much in the way of beauty, there.

My dad designed hundreds of boats over the years, not sure he would approve of this design, not enough curves and too many straight lines..

It's certainly unique to say the least, when you have that kind of money to spend. I'd most likely buy a surplus houseboat and cruise the inland waterways.
