Ok, its been awhile, but here are two pictures from GE. Both are of the same ex. V class. Can anyone draw a quick map sketch how the elevator and hallway to the bridge were built. I mean if the elevator was in the center, Where was the hallway to the bridge. This has been bothering me for a while and hope you can help. . Here is the aerial view, I noticed the box near the bridge and think it is the elevator. Not sure yet, but I saw the same box on the New West on the center lounge And here is the second, from the black line to the lounge that is the passenger area. The other way would be in the crew area. Can anyone show me???

The Elevator was placed on the centerline of the ship, and the alleyway was widened to compensate for that. The Rooms on the port side were sacrificed by making them narrower, and they were actually converted into Washrooms. As soon as you went through the door, the alleyway would narrow up again to the original layout. Queen of Esquimalt (PS: Hard to believe this is all non existant now, and these are historic photos) The otherside of that door you see, leading up to the bridge Queen of Nanaimo (this was how the alleyway used to be configured on the V-Class I believe)

Can anyone find a proper lines plan or even a fire fighting equipment plan for the Queen of Chilliwack? I'd like to see her engineering spaces below the car deck.

If anyone here is planning a ride on the North Island Princess, could you get a picture of the deck plans? She's still in service so there's a chance before she's taken out of service.
