I've always wanted to see some official BCF deck plans to print out, edit, and mess up to my liking! Good idea, hullnumbers!

Thanks, Its time that we need to see what is inside our ferries since we already understand whats on the outside. For starters I have found a map of the ex QotN and another ferry thats almost similar design. First we have the Queen of the North Second is the ferry almost identicle to our former Northern Ferry. Can anyone guess the ship or see anything that looks identicle to the QotN.

And I thought getting disoriented when I get off at a terminal than reboard a double ended ferry was bad. This is just sad though. Didn't think it was possible to get lost on a K-Barge. If it's the Spirit of Vancouver (Yes, I'm sure he didn't mistakenly forget to put Island in this space ), yes there is a McDonalds line up...Just wait an hour and 10 minutes and drive until you see golden arches. You're not on the ferry, but you're in the McDonalds line-up.

Fine people that just happen to have no sense of direction or sense of place. I too have met many people like that... I know of some family friends from Ontario who were on their way from Nanaimo to Salt Spring Island that got lost in Crofton. They could not find the ferry !!! I always get a good laugh about that when I roll into Crofton.

Did more searching on the internet and found the rest of our old Northern Queens. First up is the (ex) Queen of Prince Rupert Since theres no car deck layout for the QoPR, I found a sub that the ship was designed from. Next is the Queen of Chilliwack If anyone finds or takes a better picture of the Chilliwacks plans, put them on. Sorry for the quelity I found this on a previous photo website that is down now. That's all for now

Its been awhile, wondering is there any one here who has good eyes and artistic skill. Is there anyone willing to draw a map of QoC for a revrence on this thread.
In the mean time i will find some more layouts of our ships.

The Queen of (drum roll please ) Chilliwack, ( or the Chill for short) that photo above is as close as a map of that ship that I found but i need ( Tried and many times) help to draw it out. After all I found layouts of our other northern ships (Except Norex ) so people know whats on her and can fiqure out how to get around.

...so people know whats on her and can fiqure out how to get around. To do that, most passengers would just explore for themselves, or read the ship-directory map that's usually on a wall somewhere on the ship. Most people that read this here forum will already know their way around the ships or would be able to figure it out pretty easily. I suppose that people with special-needs for mobility might want to have a better idea of the facilities and problem-areas to avoid.

Since they actually have a labelled 'deck 3', might BCF be planning to install drop-down car-decks in the future, kinda the same as their plan for the Super-Duper C's?

Yes both the NorEx and the Coastals are predesigned to accept gallery/lift decks in the future. FSG didn't install them but did all the necessary engineering prep for them. BCF will purchase them when volume dictates and install them if necessary. They typically aren't needed right now and they are subject to wear, and corrosion even if not in use. No sense eating up the service life when they aren't needed yet.
Maybe by then there will be a carbon fibre version that is flame resistant that will solve the rust issue since it is stronger by weight in some cases.
If I remember correctly and if someone can look back, Markus even made a comment that FSG had never installed them before and I even got the sense wasn't a fan of them but maybe I am reading too much into what he said.
