I got word that the Queen of New Westminster is on the Fraser river at the S buoy as of 7:27 pm this evening. Apparently she is heading for Tsawwassen. Is she returning from refit one day early or something?

I assure you it was her I heard her on the scanner talking to Victoria traffic when she came out of the River!. Unless there is another Queen of New Westminster that we all do not know about. The Queen of New West returned to service with the 5:15am sailing out of Tsawwassen on December 17. I tell you the truth Looking at my notes, she was in service all day, There is no possible way that she was actually in the Fraser River that day.

Is it possible that you hear the New West's Horn as she was backing out of Tsawwassen at 8:15pm on the evening of the 17th? All I am saying is that I specifically heard the radio opperator say "Queen of New Westminster" at the sandheads heading for Tsawwassen at 7:28pm on December 13. As Soon as I heard this I wrote it down in my book which I am looking at as I type this. What about the Seaspan Ferries, The Seaspan Greg, and Carrier Princess or Princess Superior and the Seaspan Challenger normally transit the river in the evening heading to or from The Tilbury Termininal just up the river from Dease dock.

I probably was another ship. I was wondering, "queen of the north" you said you had a scanner, is it one of those ones that radio shack used to make the "realistic" scanner or are you a marine pilot who uses a scanner.
