(taking my cue from Austin Powers' faja): There are only 2 things that I can't stand: - Those countries that eliminate Brazil .....and the Dutch ! I told my dutch neighbour what you said, and he has asked the Netherlands to change their love for Canadians in recognition of their liberation during WWII and add the following rider: "*with the exception of any Flugel Horn playing Canadians." He then added, "May your toes meet a klompen wearing Dutch person in an intimate and memorable way." And finally he is posting to the Squirrel twitter network a map to your tulip bulbs. I have a friend that has a small working mans cafe/bar on St. Clair Avenue in the latin quarter and she has been run off her feet with World Cup and raking in the dough. Under special dispensation the bar opened at 10am and kept going until 2am. This weekend, right near her place and on the same street is the second of the two major Italian food/culture festivals in town, Corso Italia. Her business is about 80% Portugese and Brazillian patrons. I told her to quickly add Italian flags for the weekend and then she can return to normal. Of course the Italians stopped the car honking and partying early. But they love festivals and some pasta and chianti and all is forgotten. Toronto doesn't really have a "Dutch quarter" so there isn't one specific area that horn honking will take place. I think I will suggest my friend add a giant gouda or edam wheel and wear klompen while serving her guests. I can hear what her response is going to be and will decline to print it here as the forum has a family rating.

Well I am predicting NED vs GER!
Where are you going to watch the finals? (Sat. third and Sun. First)
Sat. I think we will try Commercial Drive again, it has alway been busy, but third round is third round.
Sunday: Commercial will be crazy, but fun! But is a little bit funny that one of my friends living in Amsterdam (from T-Town) is visiting his parents. So maybe there.
T-Town = Tsawwassen; Happy to say my generation started that name in the 80's and it is still used today.
