So, just to break the ice on the lack of talking, is anyone making any ferry travel plans for like Victoria Day weekend or the summer yet?

I will probably be going to Skeeter, a scouting camp at Camp Callet near Nanaimo, on the Victoria Day Weekend. I will probably be riding from my house near Grouse Mountain, to HB, then from DB to the camp. I did this last year with a couple of my Venturers.
As for Summer, I don't know, for I am probably not going on any family vacations due to the fact that I will have graduated from school. Hopefully I will be going to Saltspring in late August, maybe Saanich to visit some relatives, or Tofino, maybe even the Sunshine coast.

I intend on going to visit the Burnaby, and NIP for the first time up 'North' (of me) and then getting on the Duke Point run on the Alberni or New West, crossing to Victoria on the Vancouver and then up back to Naniamo go get on the other Route 30 ship. And yes, I have somewhere to stay LOL, Im sure this will be a 3-4 day affair once I get off my bum and figure it out.

On Feb 1st I'm going back to my old home town just south of Nanaimo via HSB-DPB to see all of my old friends again, and probably go again a few more times in the summer ;D

Well I have plans always. Summer is like all year round for me cause I go on the ferries all year round. I just work at the moment and that's it. Some days, free time I take ferry trips. Upcoming months for me, I want to take a trip on the New Cowichan seeing I havent been on her since her mid life, also the Queen of Surrey which will have to be one day, go to Horseshoe Bay then to Langdale. Gonna do that soon. Next month when the Tsawwassen is replacing the Nanny I want to take a trip on her while she's down. Few days after the SOBC returns, a trip on her, that's gonna be neat to see what they have done. New West hopefully sometime this year as I have only been on her once and would like to do the inside passage this summer, some more WestJet trips, I know a bit off topic.
I am also a airline fan too! and ect ect...

BBL = Black Ball Line. This would be the Coho, from Victoria to Port Angeles, I presume.
..... or perhaps Mr. McKay has a time machine, and is going back to the 50's to ride the Kahloke & other ships between Horseshoe Bay & Departure Bay. Now that would be neat
Maybe this could be a new thread: if you could travel back in time, what ship would you like to ride? I'd like to take the Princess of Vancouver between Nanaimo & Vancouver Harbours, and I'd like to ride the Cheslakee up the coast on Union Steamships (but I'd get off at VanAnda, before she sank).
ok, back to reality.
I did Inside Passage last summer, so it's not in the budget for this year. I was thinking of an idea for 2 summer's from now: fly up to Klemtu on Pacific Coastal, and stay there a few days doing eco-tours, and then take the Chilliwack to Bella Coola, stay a few days there in BCBC, and then take the Chilliwack back to Port Hardy. I have two years to convince my wife....

ah right. I never actually refer to it that way. If I am going I always say the Coho. I dont think I have ever refered to it as the Black Ball Line, which of course it is though.

I took it last summer. Gotta love the Queen Charlotte Sound the most. ;D I wish we ate in the buffet; we only ate breakfast and dinner in the cafe.
