I was comparing Karls recent photos of Queen of Surrey with interior photos of Oak Bay. To me it looks like Surrey was built a bit better. Like here for example: this picture was taken of the Nanaimo side of the Oak Bay and the windows look all twisted. But on Surrey they're straight and even.

hmm, interesting, dident even notice that! but they do seem a bit uneven on the Oak Bay. I wonder why. I guess just the way it was done.

The crooked windows on the Oak Bay, are actually built intentionally. They are a trade mark of Victoria Shipyards. If you look at the forward windows on the Queen of Capilano & The Queen of Cumberland, you will notice the same thing. Again, the Q-Cumber, was built in Victoria & her windows are also crooked, while the Capilano's are straight.

That's wierd...... I never noticed that before. And I've been on the Oaky and the Slurry, hundreds of times.
