Here are a few neat photos of the Henry Island in the San Juans, taken on August 14th/15th:
The First one, from the public dock at Friday Harbor, shows her with the Kaleetan, in a nice thru shot. I did not notice her until I looked at the pictures and I must say that it was a good surprise for me:

Look! Another independent operator that's not the Henry Island! Here's the late Rockport Reaction ferry beached right next to the spot where it used to cross the Skagit River in Rockport for a long time. This photo was taken on the Sunday of MLK weekend, and I had read about that ferry at the Concrete Museum the day before, so it was neat seeing this little guy a few miles up the road. It was the last of a series of reaction ferries on the Skagit River that ran until bridges were built.
